Welcome all new followers and a big hello to everyone, I hope you all had a joyouse Easter and didn't eat too much chocolate. As I have mentioned before I haven't really gotten back into mini making yet but I did paint a few furniture pieces while recuperating, if only I could find them.
I recently put together a kit of the same 'gentleman's desk' which featured some time back. It was only the second kit I have put together and was the most difficult. Some tiny gaps here and there but a couple of the vertical boards were slightly warped (the kit has been packed away for some time) so I will use that as my paltry excuse. I will show it when I work out how to download pics onto this laptop.
Meanwhile, these pics from a very stylish shop in Sydney's eastern suburbs, link
here together with the one at the top right of this post (I found it last year and cannot remember the source) have me itching to get to work on my shop. I hope you enjoy them.
A bientot.

Indeed LTNS! Good to see you posting :) Soon as I saw the stone bench with the wrought iron support I thought it looked like Parterre in Ocean St, can you believe I STILL haven't been inside the store altho we pass by often.
ReplyDeleteRe yr question on my blog about the Sydney fair, the answer is yes I'm pretty sure I'll be going. I want particularly to see Bev Henderson and see if I can find a suitable doll to become M. Culard. How about you?
Hello, Margaret, welcome back! I missed you a lot and I had thoughts for you. I am so happy to read your news again, your blog was so sad .... is a joy to know that you're using your time again with the mini!

Thank you Linda, Karin, Ewa, Norma and Caterina for your feedback, I guess some of us will just have to get stronger glasses as time goes by.
ReplyDeleteNorma, I will be going to look at everything, missed out completely last year so I am frantically saving my pennies. Don't know Bev Henderson's dolls, will google it.
Hello Margaret !!!
ReplyDeleteMe alegra mucho verte de nuevo y me gusta mucho lo que has hecho.
Welcome back! Enjoying your post very much :)
ReplyDeleteI thought that table in the first picture was already a mini creation of yours. You're so talented it wouldn't have surprised me a bit. But welcome back and I wish you all the strength you need to get back to minis full time.
