Cannot wait to go to the fair this weekend, I hope to find some tiny treasures. I will try to take some pics to show you and maybe catch up with some other mini makers.
This photo shows my last dressing table, which has since had ANOTHER, makeover, I will show it soon, with the matching bed. Then I will list it in my etsy shop, with a couple of other new items.
The 'leather' chairs have been quite popular, this is a bunch that were almost ready to go to their new homes around the world. It is wonderful to think that my items have found homes far and wide.
Welcome new followers and visitors, I appreciate all your comments and try to comment on your posts when I can.
A bientot!
Hi Margaret! Your leather chairs are exceptional. I love, love, love them! They are so absolutely perfect that they look like real life ones. Have fun at the fair!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucille, I would love to be able to take credit for building them but alas I just work some majic to make them look like old worn leather. Of course real leather ones are way out of my price range.
DeleteYour furniture look great. I understand very well that your leather chairs are popular, they are so beautiful and so well-made. I hope you get a nice trip to Sydney. I will write a new mail to you.

I will post pics of the fair hopefully next week, although some storeholders are a bit reluctant, perhaps they think people will copy their work. Anyway we all get inspiration from somewhere don't we. Thanks for the compliments.
DeleteI'm hoping to get there on Sunday morning but guess you'll be all shopped out by then, how inconsiderate of my friends to decide to get married on the same weekend as the Fair! ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry will miss you this year Norma, have a wonderful time at the wedding and I am sure we will leave you some minis to look at on Sunday!
DeleteHi Margret,
ReplyDeleteYour pieces look gorgeous, how lovely for you to be sending them OS, the leather looks so inviting, just the chair to sit and read by the fire side.
At the risk of repeating myself, yes I will be at the fair on Saturday so I will be looking out for you. I hope to get there first thing and spend a few hours there....I haven't been to the SDHF before so I'm not sure what to expect or how much time I will need???? I guess that depends on how many treasures I find. I think Mia is coming with me...we are all in Sydney for the weekend and plan to go to the Brett Whitely Studio after the fair...???
Any way, if we can tear our selves away from miniatures we might have time for a coffee if your free??

I am hoping to get there early Saturday too, I will look out for you. You could easily spend three or four hours to get around all of the tables, well I could. I haven't been to any of the other fairs to compare but vendors come from around Oz and NZ and there is usually plenty to admire.
DeleteOh I just love these leather chairs! Have a lot of fun on the fair!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Thanks Ewa, I am certainly looking forward to Saturday!

ReplyDeleteThank you Liduina, I really like taking the photos and setting up little scenes, some turn out better than others though.:)
