I must say I really like how this one turned out, it really could have been found in an old French chateau,(wouldn't I just love the opportunity to fossick about in one!).
I am undecided about what cushions to place on it, I have some lovely little silk printed fabric and I will be adding them soon. Meanwhile it is for sale in my etsy shop.
A bientot!
Beautiful as usual! I love the warm burnished gold look. A vintage tea-stained floral fabric made into cushions would be my choice!
ReplyDeleteI just think the color is beautiful, it is very stylish and like you said: it's if you've just found it in an old French chateau :D! I fully agree with Shannon regarding the cushions: very fine floral and vintage, of course, not modern.

Well done Margaret! I love the look of the woven back with the beautiful carving. I am sure that you will find just the right choice for the cushions. I can't wait to see what you do.
ReplyDeleteTienen un aspecto elegante, tanto por el tono tan adecuado,la rejilla y el tapizado perfecto!!!!
ReplyDeleteBesos.
Very beautiful! Great work. a hug, Marisa
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret! The color of the cushion and the frame are under-stated and very elegant! I can see that the neutral colors would be quite versatile and fit in just about any french-style setting.
ReplyDeleteI am totally smitten! :D
