Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you like my new look, I needed a change from black. Here you can share my miniature endeavours, perhaps be inspired by some of my photographs taken in France and of 'real world' treasures that can be made in miniature. My love of parterre-style gardens and study of horticulture made my decision for the theme of my little shop an easy one. I just hope I can successfully interpret my ideas in 1/12th scale!

The year so far ...

While enjoying the summer weather with a few trips to the beach or finding respite from the heat in the air conditioning, much of the year so far has been spent catching up with orders over the break and working on some new items for my etsy shop.

It's February already and my shop is almost one year old, I will think up a way to celebrate. Meanwhile here are some pics of my latest listings, as well as some older ones, I hope you like them. PS. I couldn't resist including this cute shot of Puddles, she's over 14 years old but you would never guess, she loves nothing better than basking in the sun, no matter how hot it gets!

A bientot!

  4. Hi Margaret, Happy Birthday to your etsy shop and congratulations on its success. I love your creations, specially that 'oh so Aussie' looking lowboy, I'm drooling over that. Puddles looks a sweetie. Pets get so special as they get older.

  5. I did read all your comments but am a little late in responding. Thank you for your kind words I am hoping to add more new things to the shop soon, I don't know how others get so many items listed I seem to never stop fiddling with mine, hehe. They always take longer to make than I think but I do enjoy creating something different.
Big hugs to each of you,
    Margaret
