Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you like my new look, I needed a change from black. Here you can share my miniature endeavours, perhaps be inspired by some of my photographs taken in France and of 'real world' treasures that can be made in miniature. My love of parterre-style gardens and study of horticulture made my decision for the theme of my little shop an easy one. I just hope I can successfully interpret my ideas in 1/12th scale!

I Love Lucy ...

Lucy is our new fur baby, rescued from the local RSPCA. She is so pretty with very pale tortoiseshell markings, her eyes are outlined in black then white. A rather plump kitty, so different to our lovely Puddles, but loves to rub and snuggle. We were lost without any animals around the house and are so glad we found her, she is a happy little soul.

No new minis to show at the moment but I am working on it.
Thanks for dropping by.
A bientot!

    1. Hi Catherine, Yes she has very thick, soft fur too and she seems to be settling in. She is keen to go outside but I worry she might run away and get hurt.

  5. Aww, Lucy is beautiful. I always say no more pets when I loose a fluffy baby but it does seem so dreary without them in the house. Glad you found another kitty to love =0)

    1. Hi Ann, Wow, three black cats, I bet they are mischievous. We are planning on spoiling her, we are currently trying out different food to see just what she prefers.

  11. You are so lucky Margaret! Lucy is beautiful and she has a striking resemblance to my beautiful Slippers who we loved for 17 yrs until she passed away a couple of years ago. Looking at your Lucy I would think it was Slippers. She will be such a treasure.

    1. Jean I hope she will be around as long as your Slippers, she is quite a little character and has the run of the house, playing like a kitten at times. We believe she is around three years old so still full of life and tricks.
