Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you like my new look, I needed a change from black. Here you can share my miniature endeavours, perhaps be inspired by some of my photographs taken in France and of 'real world' treasures that can be made in miniature. My love of parterre-style gardens and study of horticulture made my decision for the theme of my little shop an easy one. I just hope I can successfully interpret my ideas in 1/12th scale!

Glad You're Here

Welcome all new arrivals, I hope you have left a comment on the post below to be in the draw tomorrow for one of my giveaways. I will enjoy visiting all your blogs too.

I haven't been posting a lot lately, working a bit and sweating over my metalwork too. Trying to improve my technique has turned out to be a bit of a nightmare, but it won't beat me, I'm determined to find a way to make it work. Hopefully I will be able to show the results soon. Still making candelabras, or at least trying to. Also started a French-style outdoor chair, like an old full-sized one I have. It is a little too complicated and time-consuming but will finish it eventually. My shop interior is at a standstill until I buy some wiring, I expect that would be the first step. That is a task that seems rather daunting. I would love to be able to make chandeliers for it ....
A bientot.

  1. We will be able to refine the technique and future work will show that there will be perfect.
    We look forward to :-)
    A hug

  2. Good luck with all!

BTW we must be getting close to single figures for countdown sleeps until the Sydney fair...

  3. Love the pic, I love angels :)
Good luck with the metalwork, I am sure it will come to you!

Hope you're having a great week

Thanks for visiting, I would love to hear what you think ...
