Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you like my new look, I needed a change from black. Here you can share my miniature endeavours, perhaps be inspired by some of my photographs taken in France and of 'real world' treasures that can be made in miniature. My love of parterre-style gardens and study of horticulture made my decision for the theme of my little shop an easy one. I just hope I can successfully interpret my ideas in 1/12th scale!

Still Here!

It has been a long absence and I notice many other bloggers have gone quiet, where have you all gone. Thought I would post the first of my miniatures in over a year! After a big move back to my home state Tasmania, into an old house in much need of repair, I finally found the inspiration to start creating again. While my life-size house is still a bit of a mess, I find respite in creating something beautiful (at least I hope you agree, lol).
I love beautiful beds and have tried to give them character in 1/12th scale. Let me know what you think. As usual they are listed in my etsy shop which has also been quiet for a loooong time.

    Hi Margaret! I think your new beds are gorgeous! The toile on the canopies is delicate and timeless! It's great to know your move was successful and you are now back to minis!
    Many blogs have gone quiet.... twitter and instagram get blamed a lot! LOL! But some of us are still out here and will keep blogging as long as we can! I hope you keep posting, and if you need new followers, there are still many active blogs... I keep poking around to find new ones!
